Georgie West

Georgie Ella West “Nanny”, age 90, of Samantha, AL, passed away September 25, 2021 at home. Services will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Campground United Methodist Church with Bro. Paul Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Campground UMC Cemetery following the service with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Tuesday at the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford West; son-in-law, Billy Heaton; sisters, Mary Patterson, Ruth Drennen, Jodie Rice, and Reba Holcomb; great-granddaughter, Layla Hill; daughter-in-law, Glenda West; brothers, Wilford Holcomb, Floyd Holcomb, and Leonard Holcomb; and grandson, Jeff West.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Heaton of Berry; sons, Anthony (Maria), Albert (Agnes), Steve (Pamela), and Aaron; sisters, Ann Rice and Juanita Smith; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason West, Brandon West, Don Davis, Ryan West, Jake West, Austin Bordelon, and Kelly West.

Honorary pallbearers are members of the Samantha Community.
