Audrey Smithson

Audrey Smithson, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home in Moundville, Al., on the evening of July 16, 2020. Graveside service will be at 2:00 on July 19, 2020, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville, Al. Magnolia Chapel South directing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence E. "Buddy", & Nettle Grace Geddie Smith.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Howard Smithson, one brother, Tim (Ann) Smith of Moundville, sons, Joey (Amy) Smithson and Jeff (Melony) Smithson of Moundville, grandchildren, Clay (Haylee) Smithson of Greensboro, Heather (Stewart) Gray of Pickensville, Kyle (Mallory) Smithson of Northport and Caroline (Grayson) Crawford of Moundville, great grandchildren, Cade & Merritt Smithson of Northport, Sawyer Gray of Pickensville and Emmett Smithson of Greensboro.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Smithson, Clay Smithson, Stewart Gray, Grayson Crawford, Jason Smith, & Ken Ryan.

A special, "Thank you," to the three caregivers who were our true Angels sent from God. Thanks to Encompass -Home Hospice team; who was a treasured help and guidance.

Thanks to everyone for the visits, phone calls, prayers & concerns in our time of need.
