Wilton Hood

Wilton L. Hood | BERRY Wilton L. Hood, age 79, of Berry, died May 21, 2010, at home. Services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Salem Baptist Church, where Wilton was a deacon, with Ministers Ben Logan and Joe Williams and Brother Joe Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by Virgle and Carmonell Hood, Rebecca "Becky"� LaFoy, and Chandra Dean Naugher. He is survived by his wife, Maudean D. Hood; special sister, Pauline Naugher; special brother, Lewis Watson; grandchildren, Shane Naugher (Michelle) and Seth LaFoy (Mandy); and great-grandchildren, Andrya Naugher and Andrew Naugher. Pallbearers will be Ralph Pike, Bobby Dyer, Jr., Larry Turner, Daniel Kelly, Bobby Dyer, IV, Johnny Walker, III, Coleman Nabors, Jr., and J. H. White. Honorary pallbearers are Buzzy's Log Hollow-Domino's Club and Hospice of West Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Salem Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 21881 Gorgas Road, Berry, AL 35546.
