Willodene Price

Willodene Price, age 79, of Moundville, Alabama passed away on November 28, 2024, at her residence. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. with a visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Englewood Baptist Church. Brother Randy Beard will be officiating the service.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Beatrice Perryman; father, T.W. Perryman; and sister, Doris Emmagene Eason.

She is survived by her spouse, Junior Edward Price; daughter, Teresa Gail Harrell; son, Thomas Walter Price(Mary); sister, Doris Essie Eulene Campbell; grandchildren, William Justin Falls(Keri), Katelyn Hope Price(Blake), Allison Bailey Price(Casey), Rachael Davis Kelly(Hunter), Haley Davis Talley(Casey); great grandchildren, William Aiden Falls, Karsyn Dockery, Blake Patrick, Jacob Patrick, William Gabriel Falls, Taylor Kelly, Laney Kelly and Harper Talley.

Willodene or “Dene” as she was known to most, married the love of her life, Edward at 16 years old and was a loving and devoted wife for over 62 years. Their lives were full of adventure, and she would follow him anywhere or do anything he wanted to do. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren more than life itself and was the kindest, most selfless gentle, sweet spirit to everyone who knew her, and she called everyone her family. She loved the Lord and was a faithful Christian having given her heart to Jesus at a very young age. She absolutely loved playing any board games, but cards were her favorite. She was the luckiest at any game she played and would get tickled if she beat you. She may have lost her memory as she aged but she never lost her love for the Lord and her family even until the end.

Honorary pallbearers, members of Englewood Baptist Church, Amedisys Hospice nurses and staff, multitude of cousins, friends and other relatives too many to count.
