His love and dedication to his family, especially his wife, Joyce, his commitment to causes and people that he loved, his compassion for others and his funny sense of humor. Later in life, Bill developed an interest in photography and took many classes from Skip Baumhower, whom he adored. Bill dearly loved his grandchildren and was always interested and inquiring about their interests. The family is grateful to John Wedgeworth for the kind care that he provided to Bill and would like to also thank the Hospice of West Alabama, specifically nurses Jill and Carol who cared for Bill at the end.
