WILLIAM A. GOODWIN JR.
MOUNDVILLE - William A. Goodwin, Jr., age 78, of Moundville, Ala., died March 31, 2018, at Moundville Health and Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Oak Hill Cemetery with Dax Lancaster officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Arvis Goodwin, Sr. and Lela K. Goodwin; brother, David Goodwin and son, James Michael Goodwin.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Mills Goodwin; sister, Martha Myers; and niece, Melissa Hicks.
Pallbearers will be all his nephews.
Honorary pallbearers are staff and nurses of Moundville Nursing Home & Rehab and Mr. and Mrs. William Harris of Akron, Ala.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society in William's name.
