Waltraud "Omie" Shephard TUSCALOOSA Waltraud "Omie"� Shephard, age 74, of Tuscaloosa, died June 6, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Taylorville Baptist Church with Dr. Curtis Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, Miss. with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Hugh Shephard; her daughter, Scheery Armstrong; and her grandsons, Steven Alan Armstrong and Justin Armstrong. Survivors include her daughters, Dewy Levingston (Harold) of Weston, Mo., Inge Archer (Richard) of Tuscaloosa, and Solitaire Shephard of Rice Lake, Wis.; her sons, Garry Armstrong (Karen) of Osceola, Ark., Danny Armstrong (Mary) of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Roy Shephard of Columbus, Miss.; her sisters, Eva Parker and Inge Dungy; her brother, Willie Bodmann of Germany; her grandchildren, Dereck (Mandy), Brian, Brandon, Shantell, Cory (Ashley), Nick, Arianna, Morgan, Kiersten, Santana, Matthew, and Desiree; and her great-grandchildren, Trenton, Alex, Adalee, MaKenzie, Faith, and Bentlee. Pallbearers will be Richard Archer, Harold Levingston, Garry Armstrong, Danny Armstrong, and Roy Shephard. Honorary pallbearers include her grandchildren, DCH Home Health Care, and Med-South.
