Walter Powell, Jr.

Walter Wheat Powell, Jr., age 76 of Jena, passed away peacefully at his home on March 10, 2023. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 11:00 am at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Greene County with Bro. Steve Strickland officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Diane, his two children Clint and Stacey and two grandchildren Treasure  and Anabelle.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shotgun shooting. He proudly owned C&W  Shooting for more than 20 years.

Walter was a kind and thoughtful soul and will be missed by the many lives he touched. Everyone that he left in this world hates that he is gone, but we are happy that you are home free of pain.

We will always love and miss you, until we meet again.
