Vivian Gregory

Vivian Lamb Gregory, age 101, of Buhl, died Jan. 26, 2012. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Rev. Willie Crawford and Rev. John Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Romulus with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gregory, and her son, Fleetwood Gregory. Survivors include her daughter, Dean McAteer (James); her son, Marvin Gregory (Charlotte); her daughter-in-law, Maggie Gregory; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Scott Gregory, Rodney McAteer, Brian Nix, Calvin Stripling, Kenny Davidson, and David Styres. Honorary pallbearers are friends of the Romulus, Buhl, Coker, Fosters, Ralph, Shiloh, and Jena communities, and the many friends who visited her faithfully.
