Victoria Cannon

Victoria Cannon NORTHPORT - Victoria K. Cannon, age 59, of Northport, died April 19, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Salem Baptist Church in New Lexington with Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Vicky's residence. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Doris Cannon; her parents, Ike Thomas Cannon and Violet Cannon; her son, Ike Edward Cannon; brother, Leon Cannon; and sister, Mary Cannon. Survivors include her spouse, Mike Thomas; daughter, Melissa Abernathy (Scott); son, Sean Cannon (Mary); sisters, Louise Hammonds and Wanda Lollar; brother, Glynn Cannon; grandchildren, Joseph Cannon, Jacob Cannon, Julie Brown, Caylea Cannon Canyon, Ike Cannon and Justin Skelton; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Vicky had a strong love for her family, bird and dogs. She will be greatly missed. Pallbearers will be Robert Cannon, Jacob Cannon, Joseph Cannon, Norman Campbell, Joaby Campbell, Paul Hammonds, Eric Henley and Joey Morris. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Eagle Eye Security of Tuscaloosa.
