Vickie Brophy

Vivkie Lynn Brophy Salt Lake City, Utah / Vickie Lynn Brophy age 56 of Salt Lake City, Utah died November 6, 2014. A shared memorial service for Vickie and Her father James Brophy who recently passed away will be held at 11:00 am on Monday November 24, 2014 at Northport First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Spivey and Rev. Jerry Croft officiating. Vickie's ashes will be laid to rest along with both of her parent's ashes in Montana at a later date. Vickie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, James and Virginia Brophy ; maternal grandparents, Levi and Sophia Korpi and her parents, James and Nancy Brophy. Vickie is survived by her sisters Julie Lyle, Jennifer Brophy, and Jill Jones (Jamie) a brother , Michael Brophy (Dixie) nieces Kayla Lyle, Samantha Lyle, and Mallory Brophy; nephews Tyler Brophy, Cooper Jones and Crett Jones. Vickie was a graduate of Westminster University of Salt Lake City. She was a kind and compassionate person. Her generous nature was shown by her involvement and giving to various charities throughout the years. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. The family would like to express gratitude to the Mt. Olympus Rehabilitation Center in Salt Lake City for caring for Vickie during her final days. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Vickie's honor to Mt. Olympus Rehabilitation.
