TUSCALOOSA - Tracy Wilkinson Acton, age 51, of Tuscaloosa Ala., died August 13, 2018, at her home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Bro. Jim Headley officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Bassett Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Fulton, Ala., with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2018, from 6 - 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death her mother, Jerelene West.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Acton; sons, Justin Acton and Kevin Acton; father, Bobby Harold Wilkinson; step mother, Sandra Wilkinson; step sister, Carla Gable of Quitman, Miss.; step brother, Walton McGee of Lauderdale, Miss. and grandchild, Lily Acton.
Tracy was an administrative assistant for the University of Alabama School of Medicine for 20 years. She retired due to health issues.
Tracy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother with an open heart. She enjoyed camping, fishing and going to the beach and mountains. She was a friend to all.
Pallbearers will be Richard Acher, Kerry Burnett, Shawn Flowers, Keith Dixon, Melvin Craig and Bug Fendley.
Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama., Dr. Warner Huh, Dr. Scott Fulgham, nursing staff, 7th floor, UAB, Women and Children. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to LeiomyoSarcoma Support Group in memory of Tracy Acton. www.1msdr.org.
