Tina Petry

Tina Marie Petry VANCE - Tina Marie Petry, age 53, of Vance, died February 22, 2016, in Brookwood. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur ""Coyote"" Schrader, Jr.; mother, Grace Patrica Schrader; and husband, Stephen ""Steve"" Petry. Survivors include her daughters, Monica Petry Sims (Cameron) and Jennifer Denise Petry (Marc A.); son, Lonnie Lee Petry (Brandi); brothers, Mark A. Bryant and Tracy Stall; and grandchildren, Katie Sims, Keri Sims and Krista Cummings. On the evening of February 22, 2016, at 3:50 p.m., Tina passed away on Cover Bridge in Brookwood, Ala. as a result of a tragic automobile accident on that day. Tina was 53 years old. Tina was born in Harrisburg, Ohio on March 10, 1962. She was the second child and the first daughter of Arthur, Jr. ""Coyote"" and Grace ""Pat"" Schrader. Tina married and was widowed by the late Stephen ""Steve"" Petry and had three children, Monica Petry Sims, Jennifer Denise Petry and Lonnie Lee Petry. Tina lived in Vance, Ala. for 35 years. She was a fun, loving and caring woman that had a zest for life and wanted nothing but to be surrounded by family and friends. She always had a big smile that made you feel accepted and loved. She always knew what to say to make you laugh or feel better about yourself. The family will hold a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016, at a family residence.
