Thurman Edward "Bud" Hannah
BROOKWOOD - Thurman Edward "Bud" Hannah, age 79, of Brookwood, died November 22, 2018, at his residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Friendship Baptist Church in Brookwood, with Bro. Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will begin at 12 noon until the service begins.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Troy Ernest and Claudine Mae McFerrin Hannah; sisters, Catherine Faye Smith and Mary Ellen Gwin.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Billie Ruth Beard Hannah, daughter; Bridget Rene Hannah Milkey (Roger), son; Tedmond Eric Hannah (Teresa), brother; Troy Ernest Hannah, Jr. (Peggie), four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Thurman was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. He was a great Baptist Christian. Thurman was a former employee of Central Foundry, Mitchell - Neely Strip Mining and C&H mining.

His nephews and family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Amedysis Hospice and members of Davis Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Amedysis Hospice or Alacare.
