Thomas Clements

Rev. Thomas W. Clements, Jr., age 62, of Northport, died May 26, 2017, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 29, 2017, at Salem Baptist Church in New Lexington with Bros. Max Stripling, Joe Jones and Ed Steelman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be today, May 28, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas "T.W." Clements, Sr. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Quitina Clements; sister, Blinda Kirkland (Ron); son, Zach Clements (Jordon); daughter, Kylie Clements; father-in-law, Henry Trull (Linda); and mother, Nannie Joyce Clements. He was a loving husband, father, friend and encouraging pastor. Pallbearers will be Tony Brown, David Humphrey, Ron Kirkland, Jr., John Walker, Kenny Clements, Sidney Harold Clements, Ben Trull, Keith Thompson and Clay and Chris Thompson. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Gideons.
