Terry W. Chaffin MCCALLA | Terry W. Chaffin, age 62, of McCalla, died February 10, 2016, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Magnolia Chapel South with Bishop Danny Murray and Vick Hutchins officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Nell Chaffin; brother, Bobby Glenn Chaffin; grandparents, Moda and Lucille Chaffin and Isaac and Suzanne Baker. Survivors include his wife, Helen Jean Chaffin; daughter, Heather Chaffin Williams (Wes) of Hueytown, Ala. and Jamie Chaffin Johnson (Tracy) of Fultondale, Ala.; son, Anthony Howard Chaffin of Fultondale, Ala.; brothers, Carl Chaffin (Becky) of Bessemer, Ala. and Tommy Chaffin (Chris) of Newport News, Va.; parents, James H. Chaffin of Coker, Ala.; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Fowler, Noah Johnson, Ashlie Johnson, Courtney Rainwater, Hannah Rainwater, Madison Williams, Maegan Williams and Reece Williams. Terry was a godly and loving husband of 41 years. He was a dad to three children, Jamie, Heather and Tony; and eight grandchildren. He worked at Michelin Uniroyal Goodrich for 41 years. He also worked as a Trustee at the Local 351, and was a first responder.
