Terrell Talmadge "Ted" Sudduth FAYETTE Terrell "Ted"� Talmadge Sudduth, age 71, of Fayette, died August 22, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 12 noon Monday at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery with Jerry Montgomery officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his father, Emment Talmadge Sudduth and mother, Iris Strickland Sudduth. Survivors include his goddaughter, Lauren Leigh Oswalt; son, Patrick Adam Welch; godson, Jamie Oswalt; aunts, uncles, and cousins; Sudduth and Strickland families of Moores Bridge Community. Terrell served in the U.S. Marine Corps as Corporal. He was a retired Assistant Chief of the City of Northport Fire Department, M-BAR-S Farms, co-owner/breeder AQHA horses. Race/show for 30 years. He was a self made scholar. Pallbearers will be Jamie Oswalt, Jeff Deavours, Nick Hoffman, Michael Sparks, Scott White, and Donnie Guin. Honorary pallbearers are City of Northport Fire Dept., Jerry Miller, Ray Mills, Amedisys Home Health, Amedisys Hospice staff, Dr. Elizabeth Western, Dr. Susan Bostick, and Dr. Curtis Tucker. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Christian Foundation and Amedisys.
