Tera Mae McLaughlin TUSCALOOSA- Tera Mae (Dover) McLaughlin, of Tuscaloosa, died July 20, 2015, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2015, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Don Wheeler, an elder and family friend from Central Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Kenneth Arthur ""Dugan"" McLaughlin; her daughter-in-law, Carol (Matthews) McLaughlin; her great-granddaughter, Angel McLaughlin; and four dear sisters. Survivors include her sons, John K. McLaughlin (Judy) of Atlanta, Ga. and Jimmy W. McLaughlin of Hueytown; her seven grandchildren, Donna Bergeron (Robert), Mindy Bondurant, Mike McLaughlin (Kim), Jimmy McLaughlin (Caroline), Pat McLaughlin (Mamie), Amy Smithey (David), and Luke McLaughlin (Kristi); her nineteen great-grandchildren, John, Will (Hope), and Anna Lee Woodhouse, Katherine Asher (Steven), Caroline, Christine and Clayton Bondurant, Sarah, Michael, Jenna and Lyndsay McLaughlin, Ann and Matt Huffaker, Madison McLaughlin, Laren, Matthew and Charlie Smithey, Madelyn and Alexander McLaughlin; and her two sisters, Hazel Paden and Sue Stanley. Tera Mae was born in Dovertown, Ala. to Luther ""Papa Dover"" and Vada (Russell) Dover. She was a member of Central Church of Christ in Tuscaloosa for over fifty years. ""Memommie"" was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She had many loves, including cooking and gardening, but her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was ""the greatest joy in her life."" She was a blessing to all who knew her and we rejoice in the knowledge that she is at peace with our Lord in heaven.
