Templen Price

Templen Rue Price, age 61, of Berry, Alabama, passed away December 26, 2023 at his residence. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Magnolia Chapel North with Bro. Terry Oswalt officiating. Burial will follow in Wiley Cemetery at Windham Springs, Ala., with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Magnolia Chapel North.

He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Price.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Price; daughter, Faith Price; son, Saje Price; brother, Ronald Price; mother, Datrel Price; nieces, Brittany Milligan (Jarrod), Megan Elmore, and Nikki Wheelus-Cannon (Michael); nephews, Joseph Wheelus (Noehmi) and Alexander Wheelus; grand-ones, Archie Layne, Shelton and Paisley Milligan, Haven and Harleigh Grayce Sanford, Alucard Wheelus, Cameron and Jordan Smith.

Templen was born and raised in Tuscaloosa County. He was a lifelong member of Windham Springs Baptist Church, where he attended with his family. He loved nature and doing any outdoor activities. Hiking through the woods with his children was a favorite activity. He loved Alabama Football and family time every Saturday during the football season. He always had a servant’s heart and was always helping others in his rare spare time.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Horton, Archie Layne Milligan, Haven Sanford, Joseph Wheelus, Alexander Wheelus, and Zackary Bagwell.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Clint McEntyre, Nikki Cameron, and Northriver Primary Care Associates, Wiley Volunteer Fire Department, and first responders, and Phifer Wire employees and management.
