Stella Mae Taylor COKER | Stella Mae Taylor, age 76, of Coker, died March 22, 2014, in Northport. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Perry Stone, Jr. and Elder Karl Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Exie Herring; sisters, Margie Dockery and Mattie Rogers; and brothers, Elgin Herring, Jessie Herring, Artis Herring, Herman Herring, and Thurman Herring. Survivors include her daughters, Shelia Branham (Jeff), Pam Stone (Perry), and Carla Gray (Rusty); and grandchildren, Scotty Pate (Jessica), Luke Pate (Lindsey), Lindsey Martin (Alan), Jake Branham (Kristen), Jordan Branham, Jonathan Stone, and Amanda Stone. Our mother was a caring person who served others by cooking and cleaning for them. She delighted in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren. She sacrificed and lived a modest life in order to provide for her children and their families. She was passionate about gardening and her flowers. She will truly be missed. It's not goodbye, it's just until we meet again. Pallbearers will be Scotty Pate, Luke Pate, Jake Branham, Jonathan Stone, Alan Martin and Dillon Jacobs. Honorary pallbearers are Lindsey Martin, Jordan Branham, Amanda Stone, Lindsey Pate, Jessica Pate, Kristen Branham and special lifelong friends, Bobbie Adams and family.
