Lynn Hollingsworth EUTAW - Lynn Hollingsworth, age 45, of Eutaw, died May 17, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2016, at Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw with Rev. William Betts officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. There will be a Celebration of Lynn's life following the service for family and friends at Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil A. Stephens, Sr. and Dorothy R. Stephens. Survivors include her husband, Dennis Hollingsworth; sons, William Cody Stephens and Johnathon Wayne Stephens; parents, Gary W. and Dorothy S. McGalliard; sister, Georgiana Barnette (Curtis); grandchild, Raylee Faye Stephens (Cody's); and eight step-grandchildren. Lynn went home to be with our Heavenly Father on May 17th, 2016, at the age of 45. She was married to her loving husband, Dennis, for 18 years. She was a proud wife, daughter, sister, mother and Meme. She loved her family, her children and was a wonderful friend to many. She fought through many years of heart disease and diabetes and through she was ill, her strength and faith in Christ remained strong and bold. She was unshaken by the trials that she endured. Now she rests peacefully in the arms of her Savior. We love her dearly and we will always miss her. Pallbearers will be Dennis Gandy, Rodney Cork, Cliff Turnipseed, Austin Langham, Curtis Barnette and Dexter Hester. Honorary pallbearers are all of the United States Marine Moms, Dr. Edward Carraway, Dr. Scott Kemp, staff at DCH ACCU unit, staff of Turnipseed Construction and the staff of the Heart-Lung Transplant Unit at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in memory of Lynn Hollingsworth to Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 161, Eutaw, AL 35462.
