Melba Hemphill | CARROLLTON Melba "Nanny" Hemphill, age 63, of Carrollton, died June 10, 2010, at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Garden Baptist Church with David Barrentine officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and four brothers. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Kilgore of Carrollton and Raylene Pate of Pickensville; a special sister-in-law, Gail McDaniel; and her grandchildren, Kayla, Shan, Ty, Dominique, Daniel, and Blakley.
