Shirley Ann Mason Brown

Shirley Ann Mason Brown, 85, passed away on April 14, 2024. Burial service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Cornelius Chapel Church Cemetery #2 next to the church in Buhl, Alabama, following the burial of her brother, Thomas Williams Mason.

Shirley was born on April 10, 1939, to Walter Henry and Lois Williams Mason in Buhl, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, her nephew, Tommy Mason, and her niece, Vicki Mason Childs Miller; her grandparents Virgil E. and Adna Malone Williams; and William Robert and Lydia Stephens Mason.

She is survived by her daughter, Jana Brown Mastroni, her son, Chuck Brown; her grandchildren James Mastroni and Ashley Brown; her brothers, Thomas (Pat) Mason, Ronnie (Linda) Mason and Michael E Mason; nieces and nephews, Steve Mason, Ron Mason, Lynn (Derek) Osborn, Pam (Mark) Guin, Rhyan and Skylar Raymond, and Christine Childs (Morgan) Ferguson, Iizzy and Mason Ferguson and special friend, Flo Robinson.

She was a 1957 graduate of TCHS where she was a drummer in the band, was a bookkeeper for Stafford Hotel, Tanner Brothers Wholesale and Patton, Patton, and Patton Dental Care.

Shirley loved her family and friends and had a very contagious laugh.
