Shannon Holladay Averette Moundville/ Shannon H. Averette age 41 of Moundville passed away December 16, 2013 at home. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 7:00 pm at Magnolia Chapel South with Rev. Ed King and Rev. Jason Duckett officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South is in charge of arrangements. He is preceded in death by his father Harvey W. Averette, his grandfather Ralph B. Holladay and Judy Glass. Shannon is survived by his daughter Shannah Averette, mother Ann Glass (Richard), Brothers Eric Averrette (Lacey) Richard Glass, sisters, Lorie Glass, and Morgan Glass, his beloved "Granny"� Margie Holladay, Aunt Louise Johnston (Ray), who was his second mother, Sandra Holladay, Uncle Billy Holladay (Tammy). All his cousins, nieces and nephews that referred to him as crazy uncle Shannon. He would always play and always make them laugh at him. He had so much love for his family. He spent the last few years taking very good care of his beloved "Granny"�. Shannon was born in Tuscaloosa, Al. and graduated from Hale Co. High School. He attended Shelton State Community College. Shannon had many talents, decorating, singing, bartending, furniture restoration and more. Shannon was so loving, he was always finding ways to make people laugh and feel better. He always had a listening ear to any one who needed it. He had so many friends and family that loved him. He will be greatly missed by all. Facebook will never be the same. Honorary pallbearers are family and friends, Billy and Tammy Holladay, Ryan and Bridget Jacobs, Doug Jacobs, Cheri and Shane Hammond, Ryleigh Hallman, Margene Childree, Tony Nealeans, Amy Hoffman, Bobbie Banks, Jason and Candi Pate, Jason and Lauren Holladay, Employees of the Bank of Moundville, Employees of Moundville Nursing Home, Dr. Larry Skelton and Staff, and all facebook friends.
