Sarah Smith

Sarah Elizabeth King Smith, a lifelong resident of Hale County, died Wednesday July 19th, 2017. Mrs Smith was a member of the Stewart Methodist Church in Stewart, Alabama. Visitation will be Saturday July 22, 2017 at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home, 6100 Old Greensboro Road Tuscaloosa, Alabama, from 9:00-10:30 with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville, Alabama with Mike Cobb officiating. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Kendrick Smith, and her son Virgil Kendrick Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia S. Hoggle (Donald) of Montgomery, Alabama and two granddaughters, Melanie Galloway (William) of Camden, Maine; and Donna McCray, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Four great-grandchildren, William Spencer Galloway (Hannah) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Weslyn Elizabeth Bezila (Andrew) of Atlanta, Georgia; Addison Kendrick Perkins (Lauren) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; and Ashton Elizabeth Stapler (Aaron) of Sheffield, Alabama. Seven great great grandchildren, Cole, Jesse and Alan Galloway, Lawson and Landry Bezila, Parker and Payton Perkins, and a host of other family and friends.
