Sara D. McCall

Sara Donaldson McCall, age 82, of Northport, Ala., passed away September 29, 2024 at her residence. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Magnolia Chapel South in Tuscaloosa with Pastor Derrick Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Moundville, Alabama with Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be 10:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Rosie Mae Donaldson; and husband, Donovan McCall.

Survivors include her daughter, Tiffany McCall; adoptive daughters, Cindi Sanders (Alex) and LaKeitheya Holden; sisters, Peggy Lawrence (David) and Sue Tucker (Rex); brother, Robert “Pete” Donaldson; grandchildren, Brandon K. McCall, Chris Allen (Anna), and Josh Reynolds.

She was born in Moundville, Ala., went to school there and graduated in 1961. She started working at Bryce Hospital and worked there 47 years. She was married on September 9, 1970. She had one daughter and one grandson that she loved more than life and would do anything for. She loved spending time with her family. She was enjoying her retirement and doing nothing, and whatever she wanted to without having to get up early. (Ha Ha)
