Sandra Davis

Sandra Dyer Davis, age 74, of Tuscaloosa, died June 30, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2017, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. Jeremy Burrage officiating. A private burial will follow with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Ted Davis; sons, Eddie Davis (Joanne), Christopher Davis (Gay) and Patrick Davis (Amy); sister, Dianne Dyer Haywood (Donnie Sr.); brothers, Richard Dyer (Gail) and Ken Dyer (Reba); aunt, Barbara Hinton (Buddy); grandchildren, Bekah, James, Carla, Kaitlyn, Cole, Ashley and Grace; and seven great-grandchildren. With gratitude the family wishes to thank each and every one for their kind expressions of love and prayers. Also the many caregivers over the past three months at DCH Regional Medical Center, Princeton Baptist Birmingham, Moundville Health and Rehab and Hospice of West Alabama. Pallbearers will be James Davis, Cole Davis, Brian Foley, Josh Green, Coleman Richards, and Brett Terrell. Honorary pallbearers are A. L. and Nita Swindle, Connie Godfrey, Alan and Ione Williams, Kimberly Davis, Brenda Dill Ball, Leah Ann McAbee Sexton, LeRoy McAbee, friends and co-workers at VA Medical Center and Ted's Breakfast Buddies. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
