Sandra Dee Ballard Averett GREENSBORO | Sandra Dee Ballard Averett, age 53, of Greensboro, died Friday, April 22, 2016, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016, at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vester Gray Ballard and Willie Dee Cook Ballard. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Ray Averett; daughters, Jerrica A. Breland (Greg) and Rachal A. Jordan (Billy); son, William Chad Averett (Katherine); brothers, Ronnie D. Ballard (Brenda) and Michael G. Ballard (Janice); grandchildren, Logan Nicole Breland, Heidi Breland, Grady Breland, and Layla Jordan; step-granddaughter, Kimberly Heaton; and step-great-grandchildren, Addy Looney and Melody Coley. Sandra owned and operated a beauty shop for about 10 years. She raised three children, Jerrica, Chad and Rachal. She was a very loving, caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a beautiful voice.
