Sam Randolph NORTHPORT - Sam Randolph, age 90, died January 13, 2017, following complications from Alzheimer's and a heart attack. Please join the family in a celebration of his life on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. Visitation will begin at 12 noon and the service will begin at 1 p.m. at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Birt and Emma Randolph of Oakman, Alabama; two brothers, Bud and JP Randolph; and three sisters, Evelyn Randolph, Arlene Stubbs and Dixie Canady. He is survived by his children, Kathy Randolph Sproles of Northport, Alabama, and Michael Sam Randolph (Eloise) of Berry, Alabama; grandchildren, Michael Jeff Randolph of Northport and Sammy Wayne Randolph of Berry, Alabama; sisters, Jimmie Courington of Jasper and Anabel Turner of Collinsville, Illinois; grandchild, Cameron Randolph of Gordon; and mother of his children, Wilma Dean Randolph of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Born in 1926, Sam was a member of The Greatest Generation, serving proudly as veteran of WWII. An employee of BF Goodrich for a large part of his working career, he fought diligently for the rights of labor in this country.
