Ruth Louise Vintson

Ruth Louise Hudson Vintson, age 76, of Samantha, passed away at her home on April 29,2021. Funeral services will be held at Sulphur Springs Free Will Baptist Church at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 5,2021.The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Vintson married on March 17,1963 at Sulphur Springs FWB Church. They raised their three children in Samantha. In addition to being a stay-at-home mom, Mrs. Vintson drove a school bus for 25 years.

Mrs. Vintson is survived by her husband of 58 years Harold Vintson, son LaWayne Vintson (Betty), daughter Monica Vintson Simpson (Kevin), son Wyman Vintson,

granddaughters Bethany and Susannah Vintson, brother James Hudson, and a

host of in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers include: the loving and supportive hospice caregivers of Amedisys, members of the Sunshine Girls Ministry at Sulphur Springs FWB Church, Patti Simpson, Cindy Simpson, Misty Kimbrell, and Ginger Ward.
