Ruth Hubbard Williamson | NORTHPORT Ruth Hubbard Williamson, age 84, of Northport, died April 23, 2011, at Heritage Health Care. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Northport First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Parris and Rev. Jerry Croft officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.S. and Byrd Woodward Hubbard; her husband, John H. Williamson; her brother, W.S. Hubbard, Jr.; and her sisters, Nell H. Stratton, Mary Snow Yeatman, and Rose H. Curry. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Hamner (Newt) of Foley; her sons, James S. Williamson (Beverly) of Northport and John C. Williamson (Sheri) of Northport; her stepdaughter, Patricia Hahn (Billy) of Portland, Ore.; her sister, Patricia McLeod (Harold) of Knoxville, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Kimberly Hamner Quigley, Michael Hamner, John Henry Williamson, Cole Williamson, and Kane Williamson; her step-grandchildren, Aaron Appling, Garrett Appling, and Landis Appling; her great-grandchildren, Holly Hamner, Lauren Quigley, John Erick Quigley, Dean Hamner, Lois Anne Hamner, and Samuel Hamner; and her nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Stephen Yeatman, Michael Hamner, Garrett McKone, Wayne Wilson, Pat Roberts, and Aaron Appling. A special thanks to the caregivers at Heritage Health Care and Rehab.
