Ruth Rockafellow

Ruth Elizabeth Rockafellow, age 74, died Saturday, January 11, 2019, at Heritage Health Care u0026 Rehab in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was born January 1, 1945, in Somerville, New Jersey. Growing up in Ringoes, New Jersey, she is a graduate of Hunterdon Central High School and earned her B.S. degree from West Virginia Wesleyan University Buckhannon, West Virginia. Upon graduation, she moved to Los Angeles, California, where she worked as a Dietician for many years. After retirement, she moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama.



She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Rockafellow, Sr. and Mary Rockafellow, and her sister, Effie Rockafellow Jurgensen. Additional survivors include Harry Rockafellow, William Rockafellow, Arthur Rockafellow, Jr. and Phillip Rockafellow.



Arrangements are being made locally by Magnolia Chapel South to send her remains to New Jersey to be with her mother in Union Cemetery in Ringoes, New Jersey.
