Aileen Robuck Sanders EUTAW - Aileen Robuck Sanders, age 89, of Eutaw, died January 8, 2017, at home. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Mesopotamia Cemetery with Rev. Rick Williams officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 11, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Robuck and her husband, James A. Sanders. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Drummond (David) and Sandra Ellison (Tommy); sister, Dean Dillard; brother, John Robuck; grandchildren, Jason Drummond (Johnna), Jamie Drummond (Tara), Matt Dunlap (Mandie) and Will Dunlap; and great-grandchildren, Maggie Drummond, Aleena Drummond, Tucker Drummond, Khloe Drummond, Emmy Drummond and Jackson Dunlap. Aileen was born in Eutaw, Ala. on June 18, 1927. She graduated from Greene County High School and began work at Alabama Power in Eutaw soon after where she worked for 47 years. She was a wonderful mother to her two daughters and a loving "Nannie" to her four grandsons and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and Joe C. Sanders. Honorary pallbearers are Helen Hamilton, Nettie and Allen Davis, Peggy and Dennis Stripling, Bennie Abrams, David Gandy and friends of West End Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Eutaw Baptist Church and Hospice of West Alabama.
