Ruby Hagler NORTHPORT - Ruby Hagler, affectionally know as Aunt Ruby and Ms Ruby, age 90, of Northport, Ala., died February 12, 2017, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Arbor Springs Church with Bro. Alfred Banks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, George ""Jake"" Hagler; parents, Joseph Kelly and Charlotte ""Lotte"" Camp Williamson; brothers, Claude, Charlie, Cullen, Weldon, Fleet ""Jack"", Durel and Wade Williamson; sisters, Estelle Freeman Mable Wallace; and many dogs and cats that were her children. Survivors include her sisters, Edna Earl Hunnicutt (Demus) and Eulene ""Abby"" Rowe; many nieces, great nieces and great-great nieces, nephews, great nephews and great-great nephews. She was a retiree of Gulf States Paper Company and a member of Arbor Springs Church. Her life was made so much more enjoyable and easier to navigate through by her many caregivers, Neil Nichols, the late Ben Mills, Dorothy Fields, Brenda Kelly, Wendy Azwell, Karen Proctor, Virginia Beard, Samantha Martin, Eva Reding, Deborah Spencer, Melissa Hallman, Lincoln ""Link"" of FOCUS, Drs. James Robertson, Anand Pandey, Kamal Raisani, University Medical Center, Amedisys Home and Hospice Care, Lisa Crowe and Jimmy Frierson. Pallbearers will be Gerald Winters, Nathan Bigham, Robert Hagler, Alex Freeman and Andy Freeman and Neil Nichols. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Arbor Springs Cemetery Fund or Alzheimer's Association .
