Ruby Boley Duncan Ruby Boley Duncan, age 88, of Akron, died February 24, 2014, at home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today, February 27, 2014, at Concord Cemetery with Jason Duckett officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, S.R. Duncan; daughter, Pam Duncan; and grandson, Jeremy Boley Smith. Survivors include her daughter, Robin Maughan (Don) of Tuscaloosa and Theresa Smith (Chuck) of Mobile; son, Steve Duncan (Cassandra) of Moundville; grandchildren, Jason Smith (Taunya), Benjamin Smith, Hunter Boley Duncan (fiancée Kacie Wilcox); and great-grandchild, Caleb Duncan Smith. Pallbearers will be Steve Duncan, Hunter Boley Duncan, Don Maughan, Jason Smith, Mervin Hoggle, and Stanley Duncan. Honorary pallbearers are Mervin and Sylvia Hoggle, Janet Schmidt, Neil and Lisa Woods, Walter Jackson, Lillie and Stanley Duncan, Brenda Payne and family and friends of the Stewart Community.
