Roy H. Cook MOUNDVILLE | Roy H. Cook, age 82, of Moundville, died February 22, 2014, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Magnolia Chapel South with Ms. Patsy Tant and Brother Ed King officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by Chester Cook. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Sue Cook of Moundville; sons, Joseph M. Cook of Akron and Shane E. Cook (Becky) of Moundville; sister, Elizabeth Moore (Sissy); brother, Edgar Cook; numerous grandkids and great-grandkids. Pallbearers will be Brian Owens, Shawn Munday, James Cook, Brian Dill, Ed Cook, and Ricky Kelly. Honorary pallbearers are Amedisys Home Health and Hospice, Dr. Larry Skelton, and Shelby Munday.
