Ronald Gaillard

Ronald Paul Gaillard, age 79, of Buhl, Alabama, passed away February 27, 2025 at his residence. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Magnolia Chapel North with Bro. David Redding officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Williamson Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Joan Gaillard; and his parents, Paul and Bernice Gaillard.

Survivors include his daughters, Tammy Baker (Floyd) and Bobbie Gaillard; grandchildren, Brittany Marple and Christopher Paul Baker.

Ron, who was born in Phila, PA on July 13, 1945. He was a wonderful husband, father, and family man. He was married to his beloved wife, Joan for 53 years before she passed away in 2022. Ron dedicated 20 years of his life to the Navy and another 10 years to the Navy Reserves. Along with being there for his country, he was always there for his family helping Mom raise their two girls, Tammy and Bobbie. Family was everything to him, and even though he loved being a parent, he took pride in being a grandpa and was so very proud of both of his grandchildren, Brittany and Paulie.

He will always be remembered for his love of life, strong faith in the Lord and of course his corny Dad jokes.

Pallbearers will be Floyd and Paul Baker, Smitty Smith, James Barnett, Kyle Rudowski and Mike Holt.

Honorary pallbearers are Brooklyn Weems, Sadie Pudles, and Lyndsy Jones.
