Rona Mcdaniel

Rona Duren Watts McDaniel, age 84, of Gordo, Ala., died Friday, June 16, 2017, at home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Koster officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be Monday, June 19, 2017, 30 minutes prior to services at the church cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Annie Bell Duren; husbands, Clarence Watts and Carlton McDaniel; six brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Holley (Rick); son, Johnny Watts (Julie); sister, Renona Butts; grandchildren, Chase Watts (Sheila), Kevin Newell and Keith Newell; and great-grandsons, Kyle, Shayne and Cameron Newell. Rona was a godly wife, mother and grandmother. Pallbearers will be Rick Holley, Keith Newell, Kyle Newell, Chase Watts, Roman Pugh and Greg Bearer. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Amedysis Hospice of Tuscaloosa.
