Rodney A. Kipp MOUNDVILLE - Rodney A. Kipp, age 76, of Moundville, died August 18, 2016, at Moundville Health and Rehab. Services will be 3 p.m. today, August 21, 2016, at Moundville United Methodist Church with Bill Curtin officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter E. Kipp and mother, Alsie Kipp. Survivors include his wife, Addie P. Kipp of Moundville, Ala.; son, Allen Kipp (Naomi) of Birmingham, Ala.; sister, Sharon K. Czyszon (Bob) of Fairhope, Ala.; brother, Dale E. Kipp (Joan Lindsay) of Bracknell, United Kingdom; aunt, Geneva Nemeth of Crown Point, Ind.; and grandchildren, Jacob Kipp and Jonah Kipp of Birmingham, Ala. Rodney was born in Chicago, Ill. And grew up in Pleasanton, Calif. He attended Alameda High School, University of California, Berkeley and the University of Alabama. He was a member of Moundville United Methodist Church, Tuscaloosa Kiwanis and BSA leader for 40 years and former Order of the Arrow Advisor partner in Riverside Feed & Seed in Northport. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Troop 26 Moundville Boy Scouts of America or Moundville United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 35, Moundville, AL 35474.
