Robert Earl Ingram, age 65, of Greensboro, Ala., died June 8, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Sardis Baptist Church in Marion, Ala. with Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lucille Ingram; sister, Patsy Breland; and brothers, Fuller and Earl Jr. Ingram. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Aultman Ingram of Greensboro, Ala.; daughter, Ann Marie Ingram of Akron, Ala.; sons, Robert Aaron Ingram of Greensboro, Ala., Andy Ingram (Heather) of Coker, Ala. and Adam Christopher Ingram of Greensboro, Ala.; sisters, Effie Lee King, Helen Creel, Earline Sims (Erby), Evie Breland (Claude), Irma Lagrone, Peggy Averette (Less), Barbara Nell Averette and Beatrice Wyatt (Alan); mother-in-law, Lila Jean Aultman; grandchildren, Austin Dylan Ingram (Summer) of Opp, Ala. and Kaden Matthew "Tator"� Ingram of Akron, Ala.; and great-grandchildren, Logan Alexander and Emma Brooke Ingram of Opp, Ala. Robert Earl was born January 12, 1952 in Perry County, Ala. to Earl and Lucille Ingram. Throughout his life, he was a jack of all trades was never a stranger to hard work, dirty hands or the opportunity to help the next one in line. He married his high school love and was married to the same woman for 46 years. He raised four children and guided many more. He was a good soul to many who knew him as "Earl"� and will truly be missed. Even though we weren"�t ready to let him go, his weary hands were laid to rest and the Heavens rejoiced when God called him home. Pallbearers will be his sons, Aaron, Andy and Adam Ingram, Thomas Averette, Don Skidgell and Shane Ingram. Honorary pallbearers are Norris and Connie Crawford, CD and Jo Aultman, numerous nieces and nephews, Dr. Bradley Bilton, DCH Regional Medical Center and staff of MICU Room 102 and nurses and staff of Hospice of West Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama or the American Heart Association.
