Robert "Bob" Cloudus TUSCALOOSA Robert "Bob" Cloudus, age 70, of Tuscaloosa, died October 1, 2013, at home. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South. Entombment will follow at a later date in Magnolia Chapel Mausoleum with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. He was preceded in death by his parents, George E. and Ruby Lois Reeves Cloudus; and a brother, George Edward Cloudus. Survivors include his partner in life for 47 years, Barbara P. Harris; daughter, Donna McDaniel; sons, Lance Harris and Robert Harris; sisters, Elizabeth Portwood (Bill), Ann Hannah (Henry), and Martha Cloudus; sister-in-law, Dean Cloudus; and grandchildren, Jeremy McDaniel, Timothy Harris Jones, Amy Faulkner, and Christopher Simmons. Bob was a maintenance technician and retired with 35 years of service with University of Alabama. He enjoyed camping and fishing. He enjoyed his Friday night bowling friends and the traveling they did over the years. Bob was a veteran and served in the U.S. Navy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Heart Association .
