Robert Boswell

Robert "Ray" Boswell, of Coker, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at 83 years of age. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Coker Presbyterian Church with Bro Larry Reece officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing. Burial will follow in Coker Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, December 16, 2019 from 6:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M at Magnolia Chapel North.

He was preceded in death by his parents Tullie and Eva Boswell, brothers James Boswell and Gene Boswell, and daughter Ginger Porter.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Sherry Boswell, daughter Gilda Sanders (Mark), sons Buddy Boswell and David Boswell (Jennifer), grandchildren Angie Nipper (Daniel), Ashley Cooper (Tony), Dalton Boswell, and Haley Boswell, great grandchildren J.D Nipper, Hunter Nipper, Maddie Nipper, and Reagan Fife, brother Carl Boswell (Marilyn), sister Eva Rainey (Maurice), and sister-in-law Ravanell Boswell.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Nipper, Tony Fife, Robby Yeager, J.D Nipper, Raymond Maddox, and Hunter Nipper.

Honorary pallbearers are Larry and Mindel Reece, Jan and Wayne Rushing, Angela Johnson, Joe Huffman, and all of his caretakers from Hospice of West Alabama.

Ray was a retired police officer from the city of Northport with 36 years of service.
