Rhoda Gayle (Powell) Kyzer NORTHPORT | Rhoda Gayle (Powell) Kyzer, age 101, of Northport, died Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Park Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Reverend Don Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, Bessemer, Ala. with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theron C. Kyzer, and son, Bobby Max Kyzer. Survivors include her daughter, Eleanor Ann Sandlin, sisters, Nell Nix and Melba Moore, and four grandchildren. She loved the outdoors - working in the flower beds and fishing, especially with Bobby Max in Florida. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Rhoda Gayle's memory to The American Cancer Society .
