Rev. Cunningham

Rev. Frank E. Cunningham of Tuscaloosa was escorted by Jesus to be with God on Saturday, December 17, 2011. He had a wonderful and glorious life as a Minister of the Gospel for 56 years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Zelona Duncan Cunningham; daughters, Cathy C. Boyd and Nellda C. Smith (Steve); sons, Allen F. Cunningham (Kathie Faye) and Oviatt E. Cunningham (Tracey); brothers, Sham Cunningham, Vaughn D. Cunningham (Sheila); sisters, Christeen Sullivan, Betty Kent, Iris Cunningham, Ruth Maharrey (Eugene), Bevaline Booth, Janice Freeman, and Teresa Bonner; grandchildren, Allison F. Boyd, Jennifer Smith, Adam Smith, Nathan Smith, Raychelle Ann Cunningham, Carrie S. Evan, and Todd Williamson; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Rev. Perry R. and Theo Frances Cunningham; and brothers, Calvin and Perry R. Cunningham Jr. Visitation is Tuesday at Northport Church of God, 12:00 p.m., with services at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Renfroe and Rev. Greg Strickland officiating the service. Burial will follow at Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing.
