Renae Turner McGill TUSCALOOSA - Renae Turner McGill, age 32, of Tuscaloosa, passed away July 5, 2016, at her home. She was surrounded by her friends and family. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. David Socha officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Oneonta, Ala. with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be Thursday, July 7, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Turner. Renae is survived by her husband, Josh McGill; step son, Riley McGill; brother, Marcus Turner; mother, Barbara Jean Washington; grandparents, Billy and Carolyn Turner and Bobby and Barbara McMurray; in-laws; Gary and Debbie McGill; aunts and uncles, Brett and Wendy Blackwood, Ron and Cindy Huie, Machelle McMurray and Anne Crowe; and brother and sister-in-law, Matt and Brooke Cornelius. Renae was born on May 28, 1984 in Birmingham, Ala. She graduated from Arab High School and continued her education at Jacksonville State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. She later attended Lawson State Community College and became a Dental Hygienist. Renae went on to work for Johnson and Marshall Dentistry in Tuscaloosa. Her interests included traveling, reading, concerts, church activities and spending time with her friends, family and pets.
