Rebecca Davis

Rebecca Ann Anders Davis, 78, passed away on January 25, 2021 at DCH Tuscaloosa. A small private graveside service will be held at Williamson Cemetery in Northport with Magnolia Chapel North directing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Burwell and Nida Schmitz Anders.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard Davis; son,Todd Davis of Northport; daughter Jennifer Davis Nasser (David) of Lynchburg, Virginia; brothers Rodger Anders (Trudy) of Northport and Burwell Anders (Susan) of Houston, TX; grandchildren Amelia Ann Davis, Rebecca Grace Nasser, Rudy Nasser (Rachel), and a great granddaughter due in March.

Rebecca graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 1960 and went on to receive her Bachelors and Masters degrees in early childhood education from the University of Alabama. She taught kindergarten for over 35 years. Rebecca was a lifelong member of Northport Baptist Church. She was a committed and faithful Christian, gifted and creative teacher, and a beloved wife and mother. She will be missed.
