Raymond Johnson

Raymond L. Johnson, Sr. NORTHPORT/ Raymond L. Johnson, Sr., age 89, of Northport, died April 5, 2016 at Heritage Health Care Center. Services will be 11a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016 at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. George Jackson and Rev. John Drawhorn officiating. Burial will follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the church. He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse, Margaret C. Johnson and Spouse, Marion C. Johnson. Survivors include his son, Raymond "Ray" L. Johnson, Jr.; stepson, Joseph H. Bell III (Teresa); four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers are Rev. George Jackson, staff and caregivers of Heritage Healthcare, Hospice of West Alabama, members of St. Mark United Methodist Church, staff and clients at Eagles Wings Inc., John and Betty Bostick, Jerry and Kay Culton, Norman and Jean Carlson and Northport Fire and Rescue. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that donations be made to Eagles Wings Inc. in Coker, Alabama.
