Randy Wicker

Randy M. Wicker, age 64, of Northport, Ala., passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Northport Medical Center. A graveside service will be at 2:30 PM Sunday, September 6, 2020, at Phillip's Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Terrell Jones officiating and Magnolia Chapel North Directing. Visitation will be 1-2 PM at the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by his mother Louise Wicker; his father Thomas Rosboroug; grandmother Nora Rosborough; grandparents, Ovella and Belton McCool; and grandparents Mauline and Felton Wicker.

His survivors include his wife, Regina Wicker; daughters, McKayla Taylor (Matthew) and Ashley Matthews (Wesley); sisters, Debbie Tavolino, Dagmar Kenney (Phil); brothers, Pete Wicker (Julie), Robert Rosborough; father, J.C Wicker; and grandchild, Cailyn Matthews.

Randy was an employee for Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office for 19 years when he retired on March 1, 2020. He loved his job and always took pride in doing things right and giving 110%. He trained many young men and women through the years and always strived to be a good role model for all, and he hoped he made a lasting impression on their lives. He loved his friends and family.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Lyle, Clay Montgomery, John Turner, Nick Tavolino, Seth Wicker, Riley Wicker, Drew Wicker, and Marty Barrentine.

Honorary pallbearers are The Tuscaloosa County Sheriffs Office, Tuscaloosa County Jail, and Charles Watson.
