Peggy Starkie

Peggy Ann Starkie, age 83, of Tuscaloosa, AL, passed away March 25, 2021 at her home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2021, at Magnolia Chapel North with Bro. Leon White officiating. Burial will follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Robertson and Grady Starkie; her parents, Arnold and Virginia Sowell; daughter, Cheryl Ragland; son, Jeffery Robertson; and great-grandson, Brent Watkins.

Survivors include her son, Dennis Robertson (Lori); six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Ms. Peggy loved her family, friends and church family at Covenant Chapel. Ms. Peggy also LOVED her animals, Taz, Dixie, Pepper and Mercedes.

Pallbearers will be Troy Smith, Phillip Robertson, Scott Ragland, Matt Ragland, Justin Smith and Nathan Ragland.

Honorary pallbearers are Amedisys Hospice, Dr. Hinton and staff at the Manderson Cancer Center, Dr. Salinas, Dr. Graham and their staff special friend Vonda Robertson and special caregiver, April Young.
