Paul Griffin

Paul Edward Griffin, age 92, of Moundville, Ala, died January 5, 2018, at Northport Medical Center. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2018, at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Charles Spence officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Nevin Griffin; parents, Watson and Lucille Griffin; sisters, Margaret Coleman and Peggy McAteer; and brother, John Griffin. Survivors include his sisters, Lorene Watson and Lottis Thomas; brother, Charles Griffin (Gloria); brother-in-law, Charles McAteer; and special friends, Peggy and James Rice, John McCray and Eugene and Joyce McClain. A special thanks to the staff and employees of Northport Medical Center and Freedom Hall at the Tuscaloosa VA Hospital for the care given to Paul in his last days.
